OUR MISSION

Celebrating Chicago and the river and lake that made it.

To fulfill the mission we will pursue three basic objectives: 

  1. Bring Chicago kids (by the thousands) to the lake and river. 

  2. Conduct educational programs to teach the maritime arts including boat-building.

  3. Collect, restore and maintain a fleet of classic vessels to show the evolution of boating since the city was founded.
